If you’ve ever killed a houseplant by overwatering it while another one died of thirst sitting three feet away, this app is for you. I built a plant care reminder app that treats every plant in your home as unique—because they are.
I started this project because generic calendar apps and notes don’t cut it for plant care. A succulent needs water every two weeks; a monstera might need it every seven days. A generic “water plants once a week” reminder is useless. You either drown one and neglect the other, or you spend mental energy trying to remember which plant needs what. It shouldn’t be that hard.
I wanted something that let me set different care schedules for each plant—watering, fertilizing, misting, pruning—all on their own cycles. And I wanted those reminders to arrive at times that actually made sense: water the ones near my front door before work, mist the humid-loving ones after I get home. With notifications that only fire when you need them, not some one-size-fits-all alarm.
After launching on Android and getting feedback from plant parents, I’ve now brought the same experience to iOS.
What It Does
- Per-plant care schedules — Set different intervals for watering, fertilizing, misting, and pruning within a single plant. Your monstera gets water every 7 days, fertilizer every 30, and misting every 10. Your succulents only need water every 14 days.
- Customizable notification times — Choose when each reminder arrives. One plant at 7 AM before you leave for work, another at 8 PM after you’re home. No more “all notifications at 9 AM.”
- Calendar editor — Tap any date to view and edit care records for that day. Log missed waterings retroactively or clean up data mistakes instantly. Your plant history stays accurate.
- Completion statistics — See your care completion rate by plant and by task type. Quickly spot which plants you’re neglecting and adjust your habits.
- Plant cards with visual feedback — Assign each plant a pastel color, add photos and notes. When you finish all daily tasks, the status indicator turns green as a small reward.
- Complete local storage — Everything lives on your phone. No login, no cloud account, no analytics tracking. Your data never leaves your device.
- Backup and restore — Export all your plants and care history to a single file. Restore it on a new iPhone and pick up right where you left off.
The app also supports both light and dark themes, and the UI is available in Korean and English.
Who This Is For
If you have three or more houseplants, you’ve probably lost track of which one you watered last. If you’ve tried using a generic calendar app or notes to manage plant care and found that reminders never quite lined up with reality, this is designed for you. This is especially useful if you’ve noticed that different plants genuinely need different care rhythms—and you want notifications that respect your actual schedule, not just your phone’s availability.
You also get full control over your data. No accounts to manage, no permissions beyond what the app actually needs, and no personal analytics being sold anywhere.
How to Get It
The app is free to download on the App Store. Free users see small banner ads at the bottom of a few screens and one full-screen ad every five plants you add. The interruptions are minimal—they don’t block screen transitions or interrupt your care workflow. All core features remain free forever. I’m exploring lightweight in-app purchases down the line (like an ad-free option), but the plant care functionality you need is not going anywhere.
If you hit any bugs, want to request a new plant species in the database, or have feature ideas, there’s a feedback button in the settings menu.
Start with one plant today. Once you see your care history organized and your completion rate tracked, you’ll notice something shift—those dead leaves and wilted stems start disappearing.
