Forgetting to drink water throughout the day? You’re not alone. Between work, workouts, and life’s distractions, staying hydrated often falls to the bottom of the priority list. WaterDrop is a simple hydration tracker that makes logging your water intake effortless — one tap, one glass, no friction.

After launching on iOS last year, I’m excited to bring WaterDrop to Android users on Google Play. The core idea came from my own frustration with complicated health apps: I wanted something beautiful, fast, and focused solely on helping me build a consistent drinking habit.

What It Does

  • One-tap logging: Six everyday cup presets (paper cup, mug, tumbler, water bottle, 1L tumbler, Stanley) let you log instantly. Add custom cups with your own names and volumes.
  • A glanceable water gauge: Watch a droplet-shaped gauge fill as you hit your daily goal. See exactly how much you’ve drunk and how much is left.
  • Smart reminders: Set your hydration window (e.g., 9 AM–10 PM) and choose an interval. WaterDrop nudges you at the right times so you never fall behind, even on busy days.
  • Motivating stats: Track your streak (consecutive days hitting your goal), see your intake patterns across the week, and discover which cups you reach for most.
  • Home screen widget: Check your progress without opening the app. Your goal and today’s total are always visible.

Everything works offline, no sign-up required. Your data never leaves your device. The app comes in light and dark themes and supports both English and Korean.

Who This Is For

WaterDrop works best if you’re aiming for a solid 2L of water daily, training for a workout, managing a diet, or just someone who keeps forgetting to drink. If you prefer clean, minimal interfaces over bloated health apps cluttered with features you’ll never use, this is for you. Whether you’re recovering from a run, focused on nutrition, or simply trying to form a better habit, WaterDrop removes the thinking and makes hydration automatic.
