Making flashcards has always been the most tedious part of studying. You spend more time formatting cards than actually learning. Memento AI skips that entirely — you type a topic, and the app builds a ready-to-study deck in seconds.

I built this because I kept running into the same wall: I wanted to review a new concept quickly, but creating study materials from scratch killed my momentum. I figured if the hardest part of flashcard studying is making the cards, AI should just do that part.

What it does

• AI card generation: Enter any topic and the app produces a full flashcard deck immediately. No manual entry required.
• Swipe-based studying: Cards are designed to be reviewed with quick swipe gestures, keeping sessions fast and low-friction.
• Folders and decks: Organize your cards into topic-specific decks, then group those decks into folders so your library stays manageable as it grows.
• Favorites and difficulty tracking: Mark cards you find hard, and the app automatically adjusts your review priority so you spend more time on the material that needs it.
• Text-to-speech and multilingual support: Listen to card content read aloud, and use the app in Korean, English, or Japanese — with study content available in all three languages.
• Study stats and deck sharing: Daily and weekly learning summaries keep you honest about your progress, and you can share a finished deck with anyone using a simple share code.

The credit system is straightforward: new accounts start with 5 free credits, and each AI-generated deck costs 1 credit. Additional credits are available as a consumable in-app purchase when you need them.

This app is a good fit for students cramming for exams, people working through a new language, anyone preparing for a certification, or just curious learners who pick up random topics and want a structured way to retain them.
