Medicine Tracker App with Photo Verification

How many times have you reached for your medication and wondered: did I actually take that this morning? If you’re managing daily prescriptions, vitamins, or supplements, that moment of doubt is frustrating. I built an app to solve exactly that problem—one that requires you to prove you took your medicine with a quick photo.

I started working on this because I noticed the same issue affecting people around me. My family members would sometimes forget whether they’d taken their evening medication. Reminder notifications help, but there’s a gap between getting an alert and actually taking the pill. What if you could verify it happened, right then and there?

The core idea is simple: after you take your medication, snap a quick photo as proof. It’s that moment of visual confirmation that actually builds the habit. You see the pill bottle or your medication in the photo, so you’re not just trusting your memory—you’re creating a record you can review later.

How It Works

  • Scheduled alarms by medication. Set different times and days for each drug in your routine. The app notifies you at the exact moment you need to take it.
  • Photo verification. After taking your medication, open the app and snap a photo. That’s your proof for the day.
  • Flexible no-photo allowance. Some days you might need to skip the photo. You can set a monthly limit for how many times you can record a dose without a picture—default is three times per month.
  • Monthly calendar view. See your entire medication history at a glance. Which days did you take your meds? Which did you miss?
  • Missed dose tracking. If you miss a medication, log it with a reason. These entries are kept separate so you can review what happened.

The app also respects your privacy. Everything—medication names, photos, all your records—stays on your phone. No cloud sync, no accounts to create, no data sent anywhere. Your verification photos are stored only within the app, not in your photo library.

There’s also dark mode support, and the app works in both English and Korean.

Who This Is For

If you take medication on a fixed schedule every day, this app is designed for you. That includes people managing chronic conditions, anyone taking daily supplements or vitamins, or adult children helping elderly parents stay on track with their prescriptions. It’s especially useful if you’re forgetful or if you genuinely need that visual confirmation that you actually took your pill—not just that you intended to.

A quick note: this app is a habit-building tool. It’s not a medical device and doesn’t replace advice from your doctor or pharmacist. Always follow their guidance on your medication regimen.

You can download the app now on the App Store. Give it a try and see if visual verification helps you build a stronger medication habit.
